Principal

It is with enthusiasm that I join you at Kornblum as the principal for the 2022-2023 school year! I am formerly the assistant principal of Bud Carson Middle School. I worked there as the assistant principal for five years. In addition, I have taught grades 6-8 at Bud Carson. In the district, I have also served as family outreach teacher, English learner special projects teacher and intervention teacher.

 Cal State Dominguez Hills is where I earned a Bachelor's Degree in English Linguistics. Soon after, I received a teaching credential and a Master’s Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University. It continues to be a fulfilling career with incredible students, families and colleagues.

 I am delighted to return to working with younger youth. I am a true believer that with discipline, hard work and confidence, students will achieve. Cardinal birds are said to be a sign of hope and joy, so I am looking forward to us working together as Kornblum Cardinals.
